The 2012 Miami International Film Festival is more than just screenings. Make the most of your Festival experience by knowing How to Festival!
Buy your tickets early – avoid lines, guarantee you get to see the films you want. It’s easy:
Beginning Friday, February 10th until Sunday, March 11th you may purchase tickets three way:

Regal South Beach Cinemas

- Wednesday, February 29 – Sunday, March 11th from 2:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. (Daily)
- Saturday, March 3rd and Friday, March 9th only: 2:45 p.m. - 12:15 p.m. for Midnight Screenings
Venue Box Offices:
- Patrons may purchase tickets for all Festival screenings at Regal South Beach Cinema
- Patrons may purchase venue-specific, same-day tickets at Gusman Center, Coral Gables Art Cinema, Tower Theater, O Cinema & Miami Beach Cinematheque one hour before the first program of the day
Please note:
- Seating for ticket holders is guaranteed up to 10 minutes prior to the screening (seats will then be sold to individuals in the Rush Line)
- All programs and times are subject to change without notice
- No refunds or exchanges
To make your screening experience unique, the Festival brings in as many filmmakers as possible. Stick around after the film whenever the filmmaker is present for a lively Q&A session. This year, more than 50 filmmakers will attend.
Spend time at the Festival Village.
Join filmmakers, other Festival guests and fellow attendees in the 1100 block of Lincoln Road every night between 6 and 10. We’re offering free shorts, previews of Festival films and the likelihood that you might run into your favorite filmmaker. You can even make yourself a star by snapping your own VIP photos on the MIFF Stage and then Tweeting it to #MIFF12, or posting on Facebook.

Watching a Festival film at the Regal Cinemas South Beach? Come early or linger awhile and enjoy refreshments at the MIFF Terrace on the third floor, courtesy of Quely and other sponsors. You just need you Miami Film Society membership card or Festival ticket stub to gain entry.
Or catch a winning short film at the MovilFest viewing booth on the second floor of the Regal.
And any time during the Festival, there are special deals at local restaurants if you have your Miami Film Society card or ticket stub.
