Submissions
When may I submit my film for the 2014 Festival?
Submissions for Miami International Film Festival’s 31st Edition (March 7-16, 2014) will open in May 2013. Programmers of the Miami International Film Festival (MIFF), produced and presented by Miami Dade College, will be accepting official entries for the 31st edition, March 7 – 16, 2014. As the premiere venue in the U.S. for launching new Ibero-American cinema and an important showcase for international films entering the United States as well as American independent and documentary cinema, the Festival seeks the latest works by debut, emerging and veteran filmmakers for various competition and non-competition categories and genres, including features, documentaries, shorts, experimental cinema and Florida-centric stories.
How do I submit my film?
MIFF only accept submissions via Withoutabox’s Secure Online Screener (SOS) system, a secure alternative to traditional hard-copy DVDs.

When and where is the 2014 MIFF?
MIFF will be celebrating its 31st Edition on March 7-16, 2014. Venues currently confirmed for 2014 are Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts (Downtown Miami), Regal South Beach Cinemas (Miami Beach) and MDC’s Tower Theater (Little Havana).
Where do I park for CINEDWNTWN Gala screenings?
The Gusman Center (174 E. Flagler Street, Miami) valet rate is $12. The valet stand is across the street from the theater in front of the Alfred I. DuPont building, 169 East Flagler Street.
There are also special rates available at Miami Parking Authority’s College Station garage on NE 2 Avenue between NE 2nd and 3rd Streets. Guests will pay a flat fee of $5 if they have a MIFF ticket stub or badge.
Where do I park for Tower Theater screenings?
The Tower Theater (1508 SW 8th Street, Miami) is handicap accessible. There is plenty of metered parking available on 8th Street (Calle Ocho) as well as well as a public lot behind the cinema, where there are a number of free parking spaces available.
Where do I Park for Regal South Beach Cinemas screenings?
Regal South Beach Cinemas (1100 Lincoln Road) has a parking garage adjacent to it called Lincoln Center Parking (1623 Alton Road). Remember to stamp your ticket at the Customer Service desk (2nd Floor) for reduced rate parking. If the Lincoln Center lot is full, you may also find parking at 1111 Lincoln Road Parking garage or metered street parking.
