The Miami Film Society was created by and for Miami film enthusiasts with the idea of sharing the unique experience of cinema with all of Miami and the Beaches. Thirty years later, this remains its purpose.
It is the Miami Film Society that sustains and builds the Festival special events, programs and screenings throughout the year. Its members are from every walk of life with perspectives and tastes as wide and varied as the community in which they live. They share a passion for film and a desire to be part of the cultural renaissance happening here. Membership levels are designed to appeal to everyone who loves film, regardless of income.
