  • THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD kicks off DOC-YOU-UP day at the Regal South Beach Cineams at 6:15 p.m. The Oscar-nominated director of Super Size Me, Morgan Spurlock, and producer, Jeremy Chilnick, will be present for the film’s East Coast premiere. After-party at the Catalina Hotel (1732 Collins Avenue).

  • Screening at Regal South Beach Cinemas at 7:30 p.m. is BOBBY FISCHER AGAINST THE WORLD, a feature documentary that uses the narrative tension of the 1972 match between Boris Spassky and Bobby Fischer to explore the nature of genius, madness, and the game of chess itself. Director Liz Garbus will be present for intro and Q & A following the film.

  • PROJECT NIM, directed by James Marsh recounts the fascinating story of a chimpanzee taken from its mother at birth and raised like a human child by a family in a brownstone on the upper West Side in the 1970s.  Director James March will be present for intro &  Q & A  at Regal South Beach Cinemas at 9:15 p.m.

  • CEREMONY, directed by Max Winkler and starring Uma Thurman, is a special DWTWN event. Courtesy of the Miami Downtown Development Authority, the film is screening for FREE for downtown residents at 7 p.m. at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. Red carpet event commences at 6:30 p.m. with Max Winkler (director) and Michael Angarano (actor).
