Like most nonprofit organizations, the Miami International Film Festival (MIFF) depends on contributions to balance its budget every year. Only a certain percent of our costs are covered by ticket income; the rest comes from sponsors, foundations and individuals. We rely upon loyal, enthusiastic and generous donors to support us. Please consider making a gift of $100 or a gift of any size.

$25 - PROGRAMMING
Support our efforts to continue seeking out and securing new and exciting films for the Festival and year round.

$50 - OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Support MIFF’s Outreach Program, working with educational, cultural, community and special interest groups to develop new and wider audiences for film, discussions and education. Contribute to production costs to produce Outreach events

$100 - FILM SHIPPING
Help defray costs of shipping a film print to the Festival. The average costs to ship one print from abroad or within the US is $300.

$250 - HIGH SCHOOL GROUP TICKETS
Underwrite a block of tickets for a high school class to attend a Festival screening with a filmmaker Q&A.

$500 - STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY
Assist in securing key technical elements that make MIFF possible year round - film rentals, film and video technicians, projectionists, proper projection and sound equipment, technical production. Average cost of film rental or screening fee for one film is $750.

$1,000 - VISITING FILMMAKER/PANELIST
Average cost to bring a filmmaker/panelist/participant from within the US to Miami to participate in screenings, panels, seminars, and Outreach programs.

$2,500 - VISITING FILMMAKER/ACTOR
Average cost to bring in a visiting filmmaker/actor from abroad. MIFF takes pride in providing filmgoers a unique experience and the opportunity to interact with filmmakers.
